  1. Love the idea of this channel, but I mean this as friendly as possible whoever is helping you with the camera needs to stay in one place for a little longer and keep the camera as stable as possible, that would be so helpful!

  6. I see so many men in the gym throwing on weight and they do partial squats and their back is completely hunched over.
    I hope your video prevents this and educates people.
    Perhaps explain why form needs to be done in a certain way.. e.g to prevent stress of the wrong areas etc.

  7. It might be a good idea to tell people what the most common mistake you see people doing in the gym with this exercise and how to avoid it.

    I have a question about squats that you doesn't really bring up in this vide though, I don't know, maybe it's not a very common problem. When I squat down, on my way up I tend to arch my lower back quite a lot and I feel like this is probably not very good! What can I change and think about to correct this?

  11. Heidi I have VERY tight hip flexors… lately I have been working on posture and stretching of my hip flexors. However I can only go down so far before I have a butt wink. It doesn't hurt but I do worry a lot about a low back injury as I can be prone to them. Should I continue to try and get low even with the wink or go less deep until my muscles allow for the stretch? Will continued squatting hurt me in the long run or will my squats eventually be able to go deeper? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

  15. Hey, some people say that having your legs at such a distance apart (shoulder width and not waist width) works less ass and more inner thighs. Is this true?

  17. You forgot to say DON'T CURVE YOUR SPINE at the bottom, that can cause injuries! Aka "the butt wink"! You're almost doing it in the video so be careful! Better way to do squats without curving the spine is in the Smith machine! πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

  18. Heidi, I do this movement on the smith machine lying on my back, since I have weak knees. Does that have the same benefits as standing versus lying on the back?

  19. Am sixty years old can still squat 3 plates a side for 10 good reps. It’s always impressive to see a woman squat. Legs should be parallel with shoulders, and going further than parallel is of no use whatsoever , other than to cause knee damage. Your style is ok but not perfect
