  1. You should tell people that the right sides of the material face up for both pieces when putting it together. You should also say the piping piece – rough edge goes up when pinning together. You also didn't say whether you should do 1/4" or 1/2" to finish the seams after folding the piece in half to finish. Remember, people watching don't always have a lot of sewing experience.

  2. Can some one help. I made a pillow case (not this tut) and i didnt hem the raw edges. Is that bad? Will my pillow case last? I did hem the opening where you insert the pillow.

  3. I make mine without the little piece. I noticed when they wash them it gets wrinkled,and I know my kids don’t iron my grands pillow cases . Looks great without it too
