Coconut Oil in Your Pet’s Diet


Dr. Karen Becker discusses the importance of coconut oil in your pet’s diet. Coconut oil is good for balancing good to bad bacteria issue. Coconut oil is also terrific moisturizer for animals with skin allergies, dry and flaky skins, cuts, sores, pets with thin coats, dry cut noses and other pet’s skin problems.

  3. If you're using it in your dog's food, be sure to look up the correct amount to use. My cavalier king charles spaniel gets a little over a tablespoon in his food each day. If you use more than the weight correlation for your particular dog, he or she may gain too much weight. Google it up first!

  4. and….coconut oil SPOILS. MAKE SURE its bright white…not yellowish. Yellowish means its spoiled.😁

    Pls. Check the "Coconut Song." We can't live without the Coconut. We use it for shampoo, getting rid of kids lies. We also eat the young and coconut fruits and we use it for vinegar and wine. Thanks for these infos. You're great doctor.

  6. I place coconut oil on my skin only to have my cat come running to lick it off!! So I might add this to his diet!

  7. I use coconut oil with dog toothpaste to brush my dog teeth., rub coconut oil on her dry skin , she loves coconut oil
