  1. Looks like a lot of legs and feet hanging around in the background waiting to 'help' with the fresh bread and butter! Yummy! Tfs

  2. The first time I ever made this bread I didn't own a dutch oven, so I used the crock out of my crock pot. This is the same recipe I've used and it's the best bread I've ever tasted!

  3. Sophia, your bread looks absolutely yummy! Love the crunch sound & browned top. Bread & pasta are my favorite things to eat anytime. Can't beat homemade goods. TFS. 🙂

  4. Oh my goodness that looks so wonderful. I must try. I have only made bread with a bread maker. I think my grandkids would get a kick out of helping make the one.

  5. That's looks so good Sophia!!!! I don't care what they say about carbs.I love bread and everything in moderation is the way to go.Can't wait to make this.Have a great day.????☺?Andy

  6. I am a dutchy, and I have a braadpan (what you call a dutch oven). But I never used it in my oven to make bread. I usually bake the bread just on an oven plate. I am exited to try it and see if it tastes better than the normal dutch way (without a pan and a lid).

  7. Definitely going to try this as soon as I get my hands on a cast iron dutch oven! I hope you are feeling as good as you look and am glad I stumbled upon your channel. I started by watching the Flylady series and have remained. Take care and stay well.

  8. when you were cutting the bread I started to salivate! it looks delicious I will make this and serve it with butter or with a wedge of brie! yummy ?

  9. Can you make Boeuf Bourgeon? Bread looked yummy, love that kind of crusty bread, but I can't eat that anymore…..gluten 🙁 🙁

  10. You made me to want this bread! Thinking about starting it today, so we can have fresh bread tomorrow. 🙂 Thank you for inspiration. 🙂

  11. I got all the ingredients and will try this tomorrow. I don't have a Dutch oven so I will try it in my crockpot. Should I cover it with aluminum foil for 30 minutes and then take it off and bake it for another 15?

  12. Hey Sophia nice to see that you are recovering well and your back in action. My whole family and I absolutely love crusty bread and we can not buy it anywhere here….I was so happy to see your video. I have also now made variations using white flour, whole wheat flour and even Rye flour and they all came out absolutely gorgeous! thank so much Sophia for sharing this great recipe. It's delicious, and you are so right about the smell….my whole kitchen and living room smells of fresh bread.

  13. Hi Sofia! I hope you're in full recovery ! This is a wonderful recipe, I wonder if  you can teach us how to make the authentic French crêpes. Years ago I was in the North of France where you are from and I got the most delicious salt and or sweet crêpes. Could be possible for you to make them? Thanks a lot S and be well.

  14. If u can't get to it right away to bake it, can u let the dough sit longer than 8 hours? How much longer, if so? Thanks! 🙂

  15. Maybe it's me but I always read that yeast and salt shouldn't be put in like that because it kills the yeast. First salt then flower and than yeast and then mix it…that's the way I learned it .
