Chicken lollipop-300 gm(washed)
All purpose flour(Maida)-50 gm
Corn flour-25 gm
Black pepper powder(kali mirch)-1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Red chilli powder(kashmiri)-1.5 tsp
Soy sauce-3 tsp
Schezwan sauce-1 tbsp
Tomato sauce-1.5 tbsp
Finely chopped garlic-8 to 10 cloves
Chopped spring onion
Cooking oil-250 ml
Salt to taste
Combine chicken lollypops, ginger-garlic paste, salt, ½ teaspoon crushed peppercorns and soy sauce in a bowl and mix well. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
Combine ginger, garlic, red chilli paste, refined flour, cornflour, salt and remaining crushed peppercorns in another bowl and mix well. Add little water and mix well till a thick batter is formed.
Dip marinated lollypops in the batter and deep-fry in hot oil till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.
