  1. As far as I'm concerned, Infinity Gauntlet takes it. It's not a story of heroes fighting to stop a madman trying to gain infinite power… it's a story of a villain that has already attained that power, and finds himself not really knowing what to do with it. Yes, Thanos' intention was to win over Mistress Death, but as she continues to spurn him, his frustration with her and those attempting to thwart him reaches fever pitch, leading to the ultimate realization that, while he may have coveted the power, deep down he always knew he wasn't worthy of it. That's why Thanos is by FAR my favorite comic villain; while he's a cosmic powerhouse, he's every bit as flawed and relatable as the heros, which makes for a more interesting villain. Here's hoping Avengers: Infinity War does him justice.

  2. Age of Apocalypse to this day,It's my very best Marvel event. The redesigned héroes made even the crappiest mutant, cool as heck. Civil War for me comes a close second because, like AoA, you can feel the story.

  3. well AOA was legit……………can't agree with Avengers vs XMen or House of M as most recent xmen stories either suck or are heavily flawed secret wars 2 was trash also…..marvel needs a top down house cleaning from the highest levels to the lowest.

  4. Kree – Skrull War
    Dark Reign
    Annihilation
    Chaos War
    Fear Itself
My favorites besides the ones mentioned above

  5. Seriously! No Dark Phoenix Saga. No Mutant Massacre. No Phalanx Covenant or Atlantis Attacks. No Fall of the Mutants. So many greats were left off!

  6. Oh fuck the hell off. Inferno, one of the most fun events and one centered around the best character in the Marvel universe, Illyana fucking Rasputin, didn't even get an honorable mention? You're god damned retarded.
